Skeuomorphism UI kit
Skeuomorphism borrows from physical objects: brushed metal, stitched leather, recessed wells, switches that throw. Each control looks like what it does, so the interface explains itself. The craft is in light that comes from one direction across every part.
Pictures and recordings of the real kit. The paid code doesn't run on this site.
Components
- Skeuo
A working desk with a time-of-day rule: the hour moves the sun, baked textures re-shade, every shadow and glaze follows, and the H1 reads the sun back
Dashboard kit
- Daybook
A bound green cash book with pages that really turn, a pullable silk ribbon and red-pencil ticks: the ledger folds its own entries and writes the H1
- Deckle
A stationery studio's desk seen from above: orders in an oak tray, one on the baize blotter, a rubber stamp that comes down on a finished sheet, drawers for everything else, and a state machine that writes the H1
Mobile kit
Landing pages
- Endpaper
A notebook whose pages turn on scroll with live text on them, a ribbon that swings, and a back cover that shuts at the end: tick a line and the H1 counts down
- Pigeonhole
A shared inbox as an oak sorting rack: pull a letter, it unfolds along its creases, give it to a hole or seal it, and the rack recounts the H1
